Off I go again

I love travel. In the beginning, I traveled to see the sceneries. Then as internet booms and online pictures get sharper, I don't have to travel a long way to see the same view that has been pictured ten thousand times. I still traveled, for food mostly. Then I learned that all my favorite food are full of carbohydrate, which is actually bad for me. While, scratch that off my list too, I still travel for the different sights and people I see along the way, and get away from my normal routine. But that does not justify my preference on hiking on the rough trails of the mountains. Then I realized I travel mostly because the way travel has changed me. Every travel experience has taught me, pushed me to a new limit that I didn't know I could have.

So here I am, getting ready to leave for my trip China tomorrow. My new adventure would be near the snowy mountains in Lijiang and Shangri-la. This time, I prepared. I read, I exercised. starting from no exercise at all, I did body pump for a month and kickboxing for another month. I had soreness and aching all over my body and I thrived. Now I am ready. And in this season of fresh fruit, I am not forgetting about the food!
